Plastic Taka Creatives is a socially responsible and environmentally conscious enterprise that tackles marine plastic pollution while creating decent jobs for youths aged 18-25. We have established incentivized buy-back centers where we purchase plastic waste per kilogram in the informal settlements of Mombasa. The collected plastics are converted into yarns for weaving baskets with, some supplied to local recyclers, including Mr. Green Africa.
