Turtle Island Bioregional Congress (TIBC11) is a continental gathering dedicated to building relationships and solidarity for resilience and regeneration across North America. The 11th Congress in a tradition going back to 1984, the 2026 Congress brings together environmental advocates, Indigenous leaders, artists and cultural stewards, and place-based organizers to strengthen stewardship efforts, share skills, and coordinate action for ecological and social wellbeing grounded in place. Through ceremony, storytelling from Indigenous elders, and collaborative planning at for bioregional action, TIBC11 honors place-based ecological wisdom while advancing strategies for environmental protection and community resilience. TIBC11 is fiscally-sponsored by the Department of Bioregion, with organizers representing r3.0, Hylo, Regenerate Cascadia, Earth Law Center, and more.
