El Pantano

El Pantano is a regenerative living laboratory and experimental settlement located in the Paraná Delta wetlands near Buenos Aires, Argentina. Through ecological stewardship, education, cultural programming, and community-based learning, we explore practical ways of living in and restoring a unique wetland ecosystem.

We bring together artists, educators, researchers, designers, local residents, and visitors to address ecological and social challenges through direct engagement with nature. As a village-school and cultural hub within a nature reserve, we document and share our experiences so that the lessons learned at El Pantano can support regenerative initiatives beyond our island and contribute to a growing network of communities working toward more resilient futures
