About

Fundación Allpa Tarpuna promotes a community-based project focused on the recovery of ancestral seeds, food sovereignty, and the strengthening of Indigenous and rural farming communities in the Andean region of Ecuador. Through agroecology, permaculture, and environmental restoration, we work alongside rural families to implement sustainable gardens, conserve native seeds, protect water sources, and revitalize ancestral knowledge that is at risk of disappearing. Our fundraising goal is to expand the project’s impact through the creation of community seed banks, training processes, native plant production, and agroecological systems that improve food security, generate sustainable income, and promote climate resilience within communities. With this support, we aim to build more sustainable territories while strengthening cultural identity, biodiversity, and the autonomy of Indigenous and farming communities.
