Associação Quinta das Relvas

Quinta das Relvas Ass. is a non-profit NGO founded in 2016 in Branca, Portugal, dedicated to non-formal education in the fields of arts, sustainability, and social transformation. Based on an increasingly sustainable farm, the association brings together a multidisciplinary team that uses the space as a living laboratory for developing and promoting collaborative educational experiences.
Located in a region heavily marked by industrial eucalyptus monoculture and the influence of Portugal’s cellulose industry, the farm stands as a biodiversity oasis and a living example of ecological regeneration and alternative rural practices. Through activities such as artistic residencies, workshops, conferences, training courses, internships, volunteering programs, and international exchanges, the organization fosters creativity, critical thinking, and active social participation.
