Project story
Building a Permaculture Living Hub in Kisumu
CADIF Kenya is creating a transformative Permaculture Living Hub on 1.5 acres of land in Kisumu. Drawing on five years of regenerative agriculture experience, we're turning degraded urban spaces into thriving ecosystems while empowering vulnerable youth and women.
Through hands-on training and mentorship, participants gain practical skills in sustainable farming, entrepreneurship, and employability. This hub will reshape how communities view agriculture, reignite hope, and create green livelihoods that strengthen local resilience.
What we're building:
A model for youth-led sustainable food systems
Environmental stewardship opportunities
Partnerships with permaculture networks and learning institutions
A center for action research and nature restoration
By investing in this hub, you're not just supporting a project—you're enabling a movement. You're helping young people transform their neighborhoods, build viable livelihoods, and create lasting environmental change. Together, we'll prove that regenerative agriculture isn't just possible in urban Kisumu; it's essential. we want a center that demonstrate to the community that improving soil health and living permaculture lifestyle can rebuild the lost glory, inspire hope and regenerate the earth in a more sustainable way. We seek your support to ensure the foundation of our permaculture living lab is laid.
