Healer of the World

Healer of the World Arts is a multidisciplinary arts and cultural organization rooted in community healing, indigenous knowledge systems, ecological consciousness and creative development. Through the intersection of art, culture, indigenous knowledge systems and regenerative projects through art commissions, group exhibitions, residencies and creative, cultural & ecological workshops. The work explores themes of identity, land, spirituality, mental wellness, food sovereignty, ecology and African memory-making. The organization is led by 3 youth members who are Amogelang Pila, Thato Ditlhale and Goitseoe Mokonoto who are in the arts, culture and heritage industry who continue to collaborate with local and international organizations who are niche and prestigious in their mandates. Healer of the World Arts works closely with artists, elders, women, youth and communities to preserve ancestral wisdom while imagining sustainable futures through contemporary artistic practice.
