Project story
Tree Planting Initiative for Schools in Sigulu Island, Uganda
Sigulu Island faces a climate crisis. Deforestation, soil erosion, rising temperatures, and severe winds are stripping the island bare—threatening children's health, agricultural livelihoods, and the community's future.
We're planting 50,000 trees to transform this reality.
Our initiative will restore Sigulu's environment by greening schools and community spaces. Trees will combat erosion, cool the island, purify the air, and provide shade. More importantly, they'll inspire the next generation to become environmental stewards.
What we need:
Quality seedlings and planting materials
Island transportation logistics
Site preparation and ongoing care
Community training on conservation
What we're up against:Limited resources, remote island access, and unpredictable weather. Yet our commitment remains unwavering.
Every tree planted is an investment in climate resilience and hope. With your support—whether as a donor, partner, or advocate—we can reclaim Sigulu Island's green future.
Together, we'll restore our island, one tree at a time.
