Ojulu Island Saviours Foundation

Ojulu Island Saviours Foundation (OISF) is a community-based organization operating on Sigulu Island in Namayingo District, Uganda. Founded in 2023, the organization is dedicated to improving the livelihoods of island communities through environmental conservation especially tree planting, clean water access, education support, health awareness, and community empowerment. OISF works closely with local residents to address challenges such as deforestation, unsafe water, climate change, and poverty. Within Sigulu Island, OISF carries out activities including tree planting and environmental restoration, promotion of clean and safe water initiatives, support for vulnerable families, climate change awareness campaigns, education support for children through scholastic materials, and promotion of clean energy solutions such as energy-saving stoves. The organization also mobilizes communities to participate in sustainable development activities.
