Fundación Nacional Conservación deHábitat de la Mariposa Monarca

Ruta Monarca is an initiative of the National Foundation for the Conservation of Forest Habitat of the Monarch Butterfly. The organization implements the "Monarch Agroecological Gardens" project, which has demonstrated positive impact on ecosystem restoration with monitoring showing successful monarch caterpillar reproduction. The agroecological gardens initiative has been positively received by communities along the monarch butterfly migration route because its design provides a sustainable foundation for conserving natural resources and creating subsistence opportunities for rural areas. The organization is part of the Global Rewilding Alliance, which comprises 106 organizations across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America working to restore the natural beauty, diversity, and resilience of the earth.
