Every Natalday Tree Day Initiative(ENTDI),is a forest restoration organization based in Kampala Uganda. ENTDI developed a unique model of forest cover restoration by encouraging Ugandan to plant trees equal to their age at their celebrations. ENTDI has made tree plating activities as its a personal attachment initiative as people personal get involved in looking after the trees they have planted. ENTDI maps all the trees planted and of last year to present we have covered over 2000 trees.

Project story

Every Natalday Tree Day Initiative, is Founded and headed by Mr.Gumisiriza Brian, a passionate observer of how our forests have been degraded especially in the Albertine Region where our restoration activities are taking place.

ENTDI’s of encouraging Ugandan to celebrate thier birthdays by Planting tree equal to thier ages, has greatly increased the number of trees panted since our inception in 2025.

The communities that ENTDI works with Kagadi include churches, the district forest office, and the women and Youth in the host communities.

ENTDI expects a very high increase in community engagement in restoration activities and improved livelihoods as ENTDI trains the youth and women hands-on skills activities that bring income .
