Uganda Rural Development and Training Program

Uganda Rural Development and Training Programme (URDT) is an organization founded to address the missing link in development programmes by merging truly functional education, consciousness raising, skills training, and rural development interventions with the intent of empowering marginalized people living in rural communities in Uganda. Since 1987, URDT has evolved, applied and tested a rural development methodology based on the principles of the creative process and systems thinking. The organization distributes resources such as water pumps to farmers across multiple sub-counties in Uganda.
