Miracle Project is a learning centre and community in Portugal, prototyping new ways of living and working for a thriving and harmonious planet. We are currently transforming a degraded piece of land into a demonstration site for healed landscapes, which will serve as the base of operations and community. We also provide courses and workshops that empower people to break free from the old paradigm of a scarce and competitive world into one of abundance and cooperation.

We're transforming a fire-ravaged landscape in Central Portugal into a thriving demonstration site for ecosystem and community healing. This land will be the home of our community, serving as the base of operations for all our actions to come.
Employing regenerative land practices and community-led initiatives, we're demonstrating how it is possible to not only restore resilience against climate extremes but also create a climate-cooling effect on a piece of land that, for many, would seem hopeless. Throughout the process, we are also learning and sharing our knowledge globally through workshops, courses, and online platforms.
In April 2026, we signed a promissory sales contract for an 11-hectare property burned in the 2025 fires—our flagship project, Miracle Mountain. We have until 23rd October 2026 to raise funds and complete the purchase (€111,000 total). Once acquired, the land will be transferred to a foundation, ensuring it can never be sold again and will remain protected for regenerative use forever.
Simultaneously, we're surveying the land, conducting soil analyses, designing a holistic regeneration plan, and establishing our base camp. By year-end, we'll have welcomed our first groups of volunteers and hosted our first on-site ecosystem revival workshops and camps, while preparing the land to absorb winter rains.
We're seeking regenerative investors to support three critical needs: operational costs (€85,000/year), land acquisition (€ 90,840 remaining + € 12,750 borrowed, as of 30th May), and Phase 1 of the regeneration work (€900,000–€1,500,000).
→ This application focuses solely on the land acquisition costs, which total €111.000.
For the full financial status of the project, see this spreadsheet.
