Rayo de Sol

Rayo de Sol is a nonprofit organization, working in Matagalpa, Nicaragua to promote programs in Education, Community Health, Food Security and Agroforestry. The organization has been working in this region for thirteen years, developing a strong base of community support. Rayo de Sol works with many local partners, including both public and private organizations. In this way, we promote integral, community development strategies that generate lasting impact in the communities served. Community development activities include biointensive gardening, reforestation, rain harvesting and training of local farmers to promote sustainable productive practices.
