AGRO RANGERS TRUST was incorporated in September 2020 as a non-profit organisation. We are based in Pune District, Maharashtra, India. Our vision is to empower small and marginal farmers by rejuvenating farmlands, and our mission is to create sustainable livelihoods for farmers through innovative agroforestry models that improve soil quality and reduce the impact of climate change. We are deeply concerned about the alarming increase in farmer suicides in India. Our state is unfortunately at the top of the list, accounting for 37.6% of all farmer deaths in the country. This calamity is primarily driven by poverty and the vicious cycle of degrading land quality due to chemical use and poor crop yields. AGRO RANGERS TRUST is committed to reversing this trend by empowering small and marginal farmers through innovative agroforestry models. AGRO RANGERS was started by Siddhesh Sakore and Jayadip Sarode.
Guardians UK is a registered charity in England and Wales based in the London Borough of Southwark and Pulborough, West Sussex, dedicated to promoting health and healthy recreation by facilitating public access to green spaces through forest-related activities and supporting protection and regeneration of native woodland in Southeast London and West Sussex. The organization operates a tree nursery containing 1,500 native trees grown from seed or rescued from nearby lands, with the aim of planting thousands of trees across dedicated reforestation and regeneration sites throughout the UK in both urban and rural settings. Their Grange Lane Tree Rescue Hub occupies 0.8 hectares between Dulwich Wood and Grange Lane Allotments, featuring community spaces, an orchard, herb garden, and other facilities to support environmental restoration work.
