Bangalow Koalas Inc.

Bangalow Koalas is a grassroots, not-for-profit organization creating real results in the long-term rehabilitation of native habitat for koalas and other endangered species. The organization is on a mission to plant 850,000 trees by the end of 2030, and has planted over 547,000 trees across seven shires in the Northern Rivers region since 2019. These plantings have connected individuals, families, farmers, communities and Indigenous and Landcare groups in collaborative efforts to restore wildlife corridors for koalas and protect biodiversity in the face of climate change.
