Growing hope: food security and livelihoods in Uganda's refugee camps
BWG is a women led organisation operating in Kamwenge working to see that the refugees can access the limited basic needs in the neighboring communities be treated harshly, get very best treatment in all aspects of life, have them forget about the past war trauma that has led to refugee women and girls commit suicide. Babuyirana Women Group is headed by a woman of courage Patience Nanyonga Hadiija with 3 refugee girls who work in the catering services, Hadiija who has businesses in the neighboring towns of Kamwenge, Kyegegwa, Kahunge, Igongo, and in the camps where other helping organisation look at giving refugees what to depend on for one to a week days and dont think about the continued wars in East DR congo, other basic needs like the current circullum in Uganda where refugees are not told what to do rather providing them with Food, shelther, Education that is not to standards, posho plus beans is the daily meal which leaves malnourished

Grow food, grow hope kitchen gardening for refugee women in Kyaka ii and Rwamwanja refugee camps. the two refugee camps hosts refugees from from DR.Congo which is instable day and night, women remain the traumatized set, no enough land and a need to have gardens for vegetables value addition skills on the crops grown in the camps such that they earn a living out of the less grown on the small plots provided in the camps and be able to foot for the other unforeseen basic needs of their families as they remain the heads of the most fmilies in the camps when be have died in the war and other neglecting their families after reaching Uganda.
