Himba Raya Indonesia

Himba Raya Indonesia is a non-profit organization working to raise awareness about environmental degradation in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, and build community resilience toward climate change through nature-based solutions. The organization creates and implements solutions needed by local communities to conserve natural habitats, instill cultural values, increase awareness, and develop sustainable livelihoods by creating employment for local community. The organization focuses on restoring degraded peatland and heath ecosystems through tree planting, youth empowerment, and community development, with plans to restore additional areas in the coming years.
