KAKAMEGA DAYS FOR GIRLS ENTERPRISE CBO

Kakamega Days For Girls Enterprise CBO is a Community based organisation registered in Kenya. It was founded 2016 for addressing regenerative innovation ideas in the community. The main innovation are:- 1). Regenerative farming 2). Production of Re-usable Washable Sanitary Towels for girls and young women 3). Community capacity building for attitude change. 4). Networking and collaboration with partner organisations, donor funding, more technology acquisition 5) Technology and exchange visits ACHIEVEMENTS 1). The organization has trained 120 Women in regenerative Agriculture that was supported by The Ethos Foundation 2). Trained 120 women on indigenous vegetables growing. Supported by International Seed Programme SPI 3).We have produced and supported 3800 Re-usable Washable Sanitary Towels for schools, created permaculture trainings in 3 schools and supported 120 students to acquire basic education supported by: The Ethos Foundation, Nourish All,SPI and Episcopal Church Fund
