regening is a Kerry-rooted Regenerative Thinking and Practice Hub. Its vision is of an equitable society that cares for people, place and planet now and for the future. regening sees its role as that of catalyst. In chemistry, a catalyst speeds up a reaction by facilitating entities to get closer to each other so they can interact, react and form bonds that transform the entities involved. In the absence of the catalyst, the probability of those interactions happening is much lower. This is precisely how regening understands its work – serving as a hub that builds capacity for regenerative action through weaving networks, nurturing knowledge and skills, shifting mindsets and generally unlocking possibility. At the heart of regening‘s vision for a regenerative Kerry is a physical hub where all the strands of work can come together in service of local communities. This will be enabled by a land trust that allows regening to hold land for local regenerative projects.
