Knect is a Charitable Trust that exists to support and deliver positive and sustainable outcomes for people and nature across the Buller region of the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. Founded by 11 Buller Kawatiri locals comprising scientists, engineers, planners, teachers, and business professionals, Knect works collaboratively with individuals and groups, offering governance, expertise and funding support for existing and new projects. The organization's role is to amplify community answers to local challenges by offering an umbrella structure to streamline and connect other groups' work, as well as pursuing key projects themselves.
