The Chaikuni Institute is an Amazonian nonprofit based near Iquitos, Peru. We work alongside Indigenous and local communities to regenerate land, strengthen cultural knowledge, and support more life-affirming ways of living in the Peruvian Amazon. Through our three main areas - regenerative agroecology, intercultural education, and human and nature rights - we combine practical fieldwork with community learning, advocacy, and applied research. The Chaikuni Center serves as our living classroom, where we demonstrate no-burn agroforestry, native seedlings, stingless bees, natural inputs, and hands-on education for local families, students, visitors, and partners.
