I am a member of Tamera's "founding generation", living in Tamera, Monte Cerro, at the top of the Vale da Gema headwaters since 1995! I stand in full support of the next wave of earth stewards joining our endeavor.

We are not yet rooted — but we are ready to be. We are a growing group of people who came to the Vale da Gema as visitors and found something we cannot walk away from. We have seen what the headwaters consortium is building — swales holding water across property lines, children learning ecology on restored land, marathons that turn a watershed into a classroom — and we want in. We want to move here, settle here, and contribute to the regeneration work already underway alongside Tamera, Cooperativa Integral da Terra, and our future neighbors. We want to codesign our life here together, in right relation with the land and with the people who have been stewarding it before us. We are not an organization yet. We are a commitment in formation — and we are asking for the support to make it real.
