Yayasan Rakan Kehidupan Lestari is a community-based organization founded in early 2026, dedicated to environmental conservation and educational empowerment in Lhokseumawe, Aceh. Our mission is to restore coastal ecosystems through sustainable, nature-based solutions while fostering local resilience. ​We specialize in mangrove restoration and the implementation of cost-effective, locally sourced protection infrastructure, such as bamboo breakwaters, to combat coastal erosion and protect marine biodiversity. Beyond environmental restoration, we are deeply committed to social inclusion—actively involving women, youth, and local fishing communities in all our projects to ensure that conservation efforts translate into long-term economic and social stability. ​By bridging the gap between scientific restoration practices and community-led action, Yayasan Rakan Kehidupan Lestari aims to become a model for climate-resilient coastal management in Indonesia."
