Verdant

Verdant is an ecological simulation game built to make climate literacy tangible. Five browser-based missions, each set in a real biome undergoing a real crisis, each teaching a real family of restoration solutions. Players don't read about succession ecology or mangrove restoration. They make the decisions, watch the system respond, and fail until they understand why. The project is founded and built by Stanley Chukwuebuka Okonkwo, an environmental geoscientist and software engineer completing an MSc in Ecology and Nature Management at RUDN University, Moscow. The science behind each level draws directly from his research and field experience in ecological restoration across West Africa.
