The Little Art
New Zealand
NonprofitAbout
The Little Art is a non-profit organisation with 18 years’ experience using the arts to help children and young people learn, imagine, and act. Founded in Pakistan and now working internationally, we have reached more than one million children and young people across Pakistan, New Zealand, the UAE, and beyond.
In 2024, we launched reEarth from New Zealand: a global art prize inviting 4–25-year-olds to respond to one question: What does a sustainable Earth look like to you?
Led by founder Shoaib Iqbal, an Edmund Hillary Fellow, reEarth brings together a small international team and a wider network of artists, curators, educators, and climate experts, including New Zealand’s former Climate Change Commissioner.
We believe young people are not only inheritors of the climate crisis; they are among its clearest and most imaginative voices. reEarth gives them a global stage to be heard through art, photography, and digital media.
