The Bioregional Explorers Club (BEC)

Bioregional Explorers Club (BEC) is a grassroots bioregional cultural initiative that supports members in organizing and hosting place-based expeditions, gatherings, and shared practices that help people develop deeper relationship with the ecosystems and communities where they live. The work is fiscally sponsored by Planet Drum Foundation. BEC is a decentralized, member-led initiative stewarded by a core team of experienced practitioners in ecology, facilitation, media, cooperative systems, food culture, peacebuilding, and movement-building. Together, they support the emergence of bioregional culture through lived, participatory practice.
