Tanzania Agricultural Modernization Association (TAMA)

Tanzania Agricultural Modernization Association (TAMA) is a national registered non-profit organization based in Mwanza Region, Tanzania. TAMA is determined to alleviate poverty in rural Tanzania by increasing agricultural productivity, improving food security, health, nutrition and enhancing climate resilience for future generations. The organization works to improve land use management, agroforestry, environmental protection and conservation, and management of sustainable resources. What began as a grassroots initiative has grown into a national platform advancing food security through innovation and farmer empowerment, working closely with local communities, government, and partners to bridge traditional knowledge with modern solutions.
