Regenhub.Earth

Bancal Roig is the first operational prototype of RegenHub Earth for agroforestry management and ecosystem services deployment, embedded within the Forest Living regenerative farm in rural Mediterranean Spain. The project functions as a territorial “self-custody unit”, where land stewardship is organized through decentralized management of ecological assets such as soil regeneration, water cycle restoration, biodiversity enhancement, and productive agroforestry systems. Rather than a conventional farm, Bancal Roig operates as a living infrastructure layer that integrates regenerative land management, monitoring of ecosystem services, and participatory stewardship models. It serves as a testbed for new governance and coordination systems that link ecological performance with community-based care of the territory. As a prototype, it is designed to validate scalable models for regenerative land management that can be replicated across other RegenHub territories.
