Orissa State Volunteers and Social Workers Association (OSVSWA)

Orissa State Volunteers and Social Workers Association is a non-profit organisation working in sustainable and rural development since 1980. The association promotes volunteerism, grassroot voluntary action and people-centred development with the concepts of 'Development through Participation' and 'Development through Sustainability'. The organization works to tackle social and rural development issues in Odisha, supporting local communities through activities related to their livelihoods with special dedication to underprivileged, marginalized and excluded sections of rural and tribal populations. The organization carries out independent project and program implementation, action research and innovation to provide evidence-based solutions to environmental and economic problems.
