NORDESO

The Northern Development Society (NORDESO) is a community-led nonprofit founded in 2003 in Northern Ghana. We work with youth, women, and smallholder farmers to restore degraded landscapes, promote climate-smart agriculture, and create sustainable livelihoods. Our team includes local development practitioners, field officers, and community volunteers who lead tree planting, agroforestry, and environmental restoration activities across rural communities. Together, we focus on practical, locally driven solutions that improve both ecosystems and household incomes.
