About

Soil Regeneration Grammars is an initiative led by Bailey Peryman developing practical coordination patterns for composting, soil regeneration, and safe return of organic material to land. Bailey is a composting practitioner, researcher, and community educator based in Waitaha Canterbury, with deep experience across soil care, food systems, land restoration, and kaupapa Māori learning contexts. The project is hosted in partnership with the Neighbourhoods Foundation, a New Zealand charitable trust that has developed Neighbourhoods: a technical framework for communities to design and run their own coordination grammars. These grammars define the entities, roles, permissions, evidence, state transitions, and verification pathways that make complex community work coherent, teachable, auditable, and portable across contexts.
