My Indigenous Knowledge In Action (MIKIA Kenya)

My Indigenous Knowledge In Action (MIKIA Kenya) is an Indigenous Peoples-led organization based in Nanyuki, Kenya. MIKIA Kenya works with Indigenous Peoples to revitalize, document, preserve, and transfer Indigenous Knowledge across generations. Its work spans cultural heritage documentation, intergenerational learning, Cultural Learning Centers, human-wildlife coexistence, and nature regeneration. Active programs run in Lekurruki and Il-Ngwesi community lands, with Indigenous pastoralist communities at the center of all programming.
