Loop:Frome

Loop:Frome rescues local resources by redirecting nutrients back into the soil through transforming business food waste into bio-complete living compost. The organisation was launched in 2021 with a mission to build regenerative community models, for hyper-local regenerative waste management. Loop:Frome offers all of its services using locally made electric trikes, minimising environmental impact while ensuring reliable service. Through composting workshops, education, and sustainable logistics solutions, the organisation supports the town of Frome in transitioning toward circular economy practices and environmental regeneration. They are in the process of moving their main composting hub to a new bigger area of land, with plans to expand the project over the coming years. They also have a distributed model, where by they build mini compost hubs around Frome, allowing other organisation to process they’re our food waste on site, usually with food growing as well.
