Kleine Feldwirtschaft e.V.

Kleine Feldwirtschaft Landsberg is a certified organic CSA farm near Halle, Saale, operating according to ecological principles while minimizing disruption to natural ecosystems, preserving soil fertility, and protecting biodiversity. The collective farm is operated by five gardeners whose salaries are funded through member contributions, emphasizing fair compensation without self-exploitation. They cultivate over 40 varieties of vegetables and diverse herbs using seed-saving and genetically unmodified varieties. Members receive freshly harvested, unpackaged vegetables delivered within hours of harvest, minimizing transportation distances and waste. The CSA is planning to integrate a syntropical agroforestry area of perennial plants and trees into the model. The site for this new branch is part of a local former surface mining area.
