Curriculum for Life

Curriculum for Life (CFL) develops free life skills lessons that teach the practical, relational, and ecological skills conventional schooling leaves out. We design and deliver hands-on learning experiences for young people, bringing together educators, learners, farmers, designers, and community organisers who believe that life skills cannot be separated from the soil, water, and biology they depend on. CFL centres youth voice in the design of everything we make. We operate through open-source learning materials created multigenerationally, workshops, and partnerships with schools and community organisations - building a curriculum that is rigorous, context-based, and rooted in care for the self, the community, and the planet. Our ambition is to move this work from virtual and in-person classrooms into policy, so that life skills are recognised as essential to every young person's education.
