We make how, where, and why to compost effortless and rewarding, using impact tracking and bioregional food-cycle rewards that turn scraps into soil and reward composters with dollars they can spend at local farmers markets, nurseries and sustainable purveyors. For five years we've run the platform behind LA Compost, making the invisible visible and actionable, with over 7,300 households logging 103,000+ compost actions and saving nearly 1 million lbs of food from landfills. Founder Lauren Turk has spent a decade building products, platforms and partnerships to create ecological and social good. Our mission: un-invent the food waste design flaw in the status quo.
