Community Impact Nepal

Community Impact Nepal is a not-for-profit social enterprise registered with Nepal's Social Welfare Council, founded in 2015 in response to the earthquake that destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes. Headquartered in Lalitpur with a field office in Rimna, Jajarkot, our team of 30+ engineers, social mobilisers, trainers, and field coordinators works directly with rural communities across Nepal's most disaster-prone districts. Our work is led by a dedicated team combining technical expertise in green construction with deep grassroots experience in community mobilisation, gender inclusion, and disaster response. We are guided by a Board of Directors with backgrounds in social entrepreneurship, engineering, and international development, and supported by partnerships with IOM, Practical Action, GIZ, Care Nepal, DCA Nepal, and Rotary, anchoring our model in both local trust and global credibility.
