BROOMHILL Sanctuary

BROOMHILL is a regenerative land stewardship and ecological education initiative based in Aotearoa New Zealand. We work directly with land to restore ecological function and support community wellbeing through small-scale regenerative growing, seasonal food production, seed saving, biodiversity care, and hands-on learning. Our work is grounded in daily engagement with the whenua, where planting, harvesting, and land care are guided by ongoing observation and relationship with the living systems of the site. This continuous practice shapes both the land and how people participate in it. Through gardens, workshops, and community involvement, BROOMHILL offers practical opportunities for people to engage directly with food systems, ecological processes, and seasonal cycles through lived experience. At its core, BROOMHILL is a practice of reciprocal relationship between people and place, where ecological care and human wellbeing are part of the same living system.
