Biome Conserve Initiative

Biome Conserve Initiative is a registered non-profit environmental organization based in Delta State, Nigeria, dedicated to ecosystem restoration, biodiversity conservation, and community-led environmental sustainability. Founded in 2021 following ecological research on the Ubeji Axis of the Warri River, the organization was established in response to increasing oil pollution, heavy metal contamination, habitat degradation, and biodiversity decline affecting freshwater ecosystems and local livelihoods. Our team is composed of young environmental researchers, conservation advocates, and community members committed to protecting vulnerable aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems through practical, locally driven solutions. We combine science-supported environmental monitoring with restoration activities, phytoremediation, conservation education, sustainable aquaculture, and youth engagement initiatives to promote healthier ecosystems and more resilient communities.
