Asociación Ambiental Arrecife Natura

Arrecife Natura is an environmental association based in Lanzarote dedicated to biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration and environmental education. Our mission is to reconnect local communities with island nature by protecting native flora, restoring degraded spaces and encouraging citizen participation in caring for nature. We work through urban naturalisation projects, restoration with native species, seed conservation, educational activities and collaboration with schools, public institutions and scientific organisations. We believe in practical, community-based conservation that can transform small degraded areas into refuges for biodiversity and places of learning. Our approach combines botanical knowledge, community action and environmental education to conserve Lanzarote’s biodiversity from within the territory itself. Our values are respect for nature, cooperation, social participation, technical rigour and commitment to a more biodiverse future for the island.
