Ardha Jabesa Foundation (AJF) is a Non-Governmental Organization transforming lives in Northern Kenya's arid and semi-arid lands (ASAL) through integrated programs in Climate Change Adaptation, Resilience & Disaster Risk Reduction, Sustainable Rangeland Management & Ecosystem Restoration, Community Land Governance & Secure Customary Tenure, Sustainable Pastoralist Livelihoods & Economic Empowerment, Youth, Women, Gender & Civic Inclusion in Environmental Governance, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, Peacebuilding & Intergenerational Transfer and Research, Policy Advocacy, Capacity Building & Institutional Strengthening. Since beginning operations in 2017 and achieving formal NGO registration in 2021 established under Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Act (Cap 19) of 1990, we have emerged as a trusted bridge between marginalized pastoralist communities and development opportunities.
Working across five ASAL counties; Isiolo, Samburu, Marsabit, Wajir, and Tana River.
