Aquabloom Fisheries

Aquabloom Fisheries Enterprise is a registered community-centered aquaculture and sustainable feed innovation enterprise based in Delta State, Nigeria. The organization promotes climate-smart and low-cost aquaculture systems that strengthen food security, livelihoods, and community resilience in indigenous riverine communities. Our initiative uses circular “waste-to-feed” approaches by integrating black soldier fly larvae, cassava by-products, duckweed, and moringa-based feed supplementation to reduce dependence on expensive commercial fish feeds while promoting sustainable fish production and environmental sustainability. Aquabloom Fisheries also supports inclusive livelihood development, youth empowerment, and community-based aquaculture innovation through practical demonstration systems and local capacity-building activities.
