Alāhnë Initiative

Alāhnë is a seed planted in the hearts of its founding board members during the summer of 2025 in Gabon, Africa, following their initiation into the Bwiti tradition. As they reflected on their shared human experience, they saw a deep yearning for greater understanding. Guided by wisdom received through dreams, visions, and plant ceremonies, they decided to formally establish an organization focused on guiding people to better understand themselves that they may be better understood by others. This initiative pursues two primary pathways of exploration: Understanding Where We Come From—an exploration of Indigenous wisdom seeking a path forward rooted in mutual respect and relationality. Understanding Where We Are Now—an effort to expand access to introspective care, which includes any practice that enables and supports self-inquiry. Our approach centers on adopting hyper-focused, manageable projects aligned with this mission.
