For nonprofit organizations
Host grassroots nature projects
Support regenerative projects around the world and make philanthropy more efficient.
What is a host partner?
A host partner is an established nonprofit that receives and manages funds on behalf of projects on Ma Earth. Many community restoration projects don’t have formal nonprofit status, or they operate in countries our payment infrastructure doesn’t reach. Host partners bridge that gap by receiving donations, disbursing funds, and providing oversight.
Who do they support?
Projects without nonprofit status
Communities, indigenous groups, or other projects without formal status.
Projects not in Stripe-supported countries
Located outside the regions currently covered by Stripe Connect.
What do they
do?
Receive donations
Two funding streams: crowdfunding donations and matching grants.
Disburse funds
Transfer funds to the project and ensure they're used for stated purposes.
Provide financial oversight
Lightweight reporting and local compliance (KYC/AML) within jurisdiction.
Optional support
Some host partners offer insurance, legal guidance, or training.

Stripe-supported countries
Your organization can become a host partner if Stripe is supported in your country.
FAQ
A host partner supports projects that either lack formal nonprofit status or operate in countries not supported by Stripe’s payment infrastructure. Since Stripe availability varies by country, projects in unsupported regions cannot receive funds directly through the platform and must route them through an established host partner organization.
