RegenNow Farms

RegenNow Farms, a social enterprise founded by David Munezero to address the intersecting crises of food insecurity, extreme poverty, and systemic climate vulnerability in Kampala, Uganda. Rooted in David’s lived experience with childhood hunger and post-conflict displacement, our organization rejects occasional aid in favor of community-led sovereignty. We design and deploy localized, nature-based solutions that allow vulnerable urban populations, displaced families, and refugee communities to meet their immediate nutritional needs while actively restoring local ecosystems. By integrating educational facilitation, community organizing, and regenerative agricultural systems, we shift the paradigm from passive aid reception to active environmental stewardship with a local focus. Our team builds practical tools that heal the soil, close nutrient loops, and return agency and dignity to the households most affected by the climate crisis today.
