About

For the Love of Wildlife (FLOW) is an Australian registered charity founded in 2014 with a decade-long record of global conservation firsts. FLOW secured Australia's historic ban on lion trophy imports, a world first followed by France, the Netherlands and the US. After hosting Australia's first ivory and rhino horn destruction event and triggering a Parliamentary Inquiry, FLOW secured the domestic trade ban, announced at CITES CoP 2019. Engaging more than 33 countries, FLOW championed the modernisation of the legal trade in endangered species from an outdated paper system to eCITES (which would decisively close the illegal trade). FLOW now leads Project PanGaia, a world-first rewilding initiative on the Ngaanyatjarra Lands of Western Australia, in partnership with the Pira-Kata Aboriginal community under Elder Preston Thomas, validated by Curtin University's Soil and Landscape Science Faculty. FLOW is a proud member of the Global Rewilding Alliance.
