We are a group of professionals committed to contributing new approaches to the development of rural communities. We understand "development" as the unfolding and realization of ideas generated through dialogue with organizations and communities regarding their visions for improving their living conditions. To achieve this, we facilitate processes of collective reflection and the exchange of ideas at all levels. Our experience has shown that when rural communities have full control over their natural resources and are able to engage in meaningful dialogue about how to achieve the future they envision, it is possible to attain environmental sustainability and restore ecosystems. We recognize that the voices and perspectives of women and young people have often been overlooked; therefore, we promote mechanisms that enable rural development to benefit from the initiatives and contributions of all sectors of society.
