Video Editor

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Video Editor to join our creative team and support the editing of our interview series. The ideal candidate will have video editing skills and experience, be collaborative in a team while also being an independent self-starter, and strongly align with Ma Earth's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and produce high-quality videos for our interview series “The Regeneration Will Be Funded” and other video content that is created by Ma Earth.
Collaborate with the rest of the production team to take raw video files into video content that can live in different formats across platforms.
Utilize various editing techniques and software to enhance video quality, including color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines.
Stay current with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality and impact of our video content.
Maintain an organized and efficient workflow, including file management and project documentation.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Familiarity with social media platforms and video content optimization is a plus.
